This cover of the song Only Christ, written by Watchman Nee, was recorded because we were inspired by the story of Jesus going up to the mountain with 3 of His disciples, Peter, James, and John. When they were on the mountain, Jesus was transfigured, and Moses and Elijah appeared and talked to Him. The disciples got excited and wanted to make tents for each of the three men, all of them being highly-esteemed prophets in their minds. But, the Father spoke from heaven, “This is my beloved Son, hear Him!” As in, this Man is everything. It’s not about three renowned men standing on the mountain together. It’s about JESUS, the only Son of God. It’s not about paying your respects to to these three men of God. It’s about worshiping, knowing, and having Jesus Christ.
